Every year there are more and more hotels being built in the city itself and the surrounding suburbs, especially in Split and Dubrovnik. When it comes to Split and its hotels, grand Le Meridien Lav in Podstrana, hotel Atrium, hotel President, stylish Radisson Blu hotel, hotel Park above Bačvice beach, Medena complex near Trogir and hotel Globo are among the best and most luxurious hotels in the area.

Besides luxury rooms, these hotels also provide free use of gym, spa and wellness, casinos,  clubs and pools. Some of them are located next to the sea with private beaches, while others such as Le Meridien Lav in Podstrana, have their own marina filled with yachts and speedboats. Average price of hotel room for one night is between 100 and 500 euros, depending which type of accommodation you prefer.

Accommodation Split-Dalmatia – LUXURY VILLAS

Split is a town which has something for everyone. So, if you want the best possible accommodation for you, your friends and family, these villas will make your vacation in Croatia even better. That being said, these villas usually can be rented only for a whole week, while their weekly price is between 5000 to 20 000 euros, depending on the time of year, level of luxury and their location.

Villa Split  is among the best places to rent in Split. It protected as a cultural monument of Croatia and it is settled in Meje, an elite, yet peaceful part of the town. On the other side of the town there is Villa Penthouse-Split which is owned by Radisson Resort. It is located on a hilltop with a ample terrace, exquisite interiors and spectacular panoramic view of the sea from almost every room.

Since Split is bit more expensive when it comes to accommodation, especially when you look to rent a villa, suburbs around the town provide bit cheaper options with more or less the same amount of luxury. Villa Red Land or Villa Greta as they renamed it, is located in Kastela on a 3,500 m2 property, directly on the beach. It is  overlooking Split riviera along with its cobalt blue pool and spacious terrace in front of the villa.

Luxury Villa Luminosa is  new modern house built on large peaceful area and it is the most affordable villa among the ones mention in this article. Its price is around 250 euros per night. Luxury Villa Luminosa is set among olive trees in the quiet suburbs of Split, near Solin, with small football field, swimming pool and spacious outside terrace in front of the villa.

Although you can find some villas on and Airbnb, we recommend luxuryretreats and myprivatevillas for booking.

 Accommodation Split-Dalmatia – APARTMENTS

Apartments are the most popular means of accommodation, especially thanks to and Airbnb. Due to strong development of Croatian tourism and its membership in the European Union, there are more and more apartments being built in Split and surrounding cities such as Solin, Kaštela, Stobreč and Trogir.

Not only that diverse supply on the market leaves you with numerous options regarding accommodation but you can also choose which pay grade and amount of luxury suits you best. However, if you book apartment in the city centre, you will pay bit more. On the other hand, if you book an apartment outside the centre or especially in the surrounding suburbs, you will save some money and usually get 2 or 3 beedroom apartment for lower price.

That being said, public transportation, taxis and Uber are well organized and it won’t be a problem to get from one place to another. However, before making a reservation check the location of your apartment and what types of transportation and car rentals are on your disposal, if you’re arriving without your own.
