I took this tour today. Really worth every penny ! It Costs 75€ and you get breakfast while going to Brać and a three course meal on the way back to Split. I had tuna steak and I recommend it. Beer and wine are free on the boat. The service is A+ , the crew is efficient and pleasant:a good team ! You have five hours to spend on the beach ... enjoy !
One of our most popular excursions include Bol and Zlatni Rat tour. There is a good reason behind it. Golden Horn or Zlatni rat is the most famous beach on this side of Adriatic, while Bol is one of the most popular cities among mid-Adriatic islands.
Bol is the only settlement on the southern side of Brač island. It is charming old town and popular tourist destinatiom with many bars, restaurants¸ windsurfing activities and sightseeing locations.
On the eastern side of town you can visit dominican monastery and its muzeum with rich archaeological collection, while in the city centre, you will find sculpted old buildings intertwined with folk architecture.
Some of them include Baroque mansion, the parish church of Our Lady of Carmel and Renaissance-Baroque palace where an art gallery is located. So, whether you decide to explore old history of Bol, you’re craving for adrenaline pumping activities or you want to visit one of its many restaurants, you have plenty of options to pick from.
After exploring the town, we recommend taking a stroll along the promenade which will take you to the beach of Zlatni Rat.
Promenade provides many locations for picturesque views of the shore as well as plenty of bars and kiosks where you can sip a coffee, enjoy the scenery or buy stone souvenirs.
However, if you don’t want to walk 10 minutes from the town to the beach, you can also take a transfer directly to the beach which will cost you about 20 kunas or 3 euros.
Despite all of that, the most interesting part of the town is its west side with popular beach Zlatni Rat. Also known as Golden Horn or Golden Cape, it is the most popular and one of the most beautiful beaches on Adriatic.
Covered in small golden pebbles, beach protrudes over 500 meters out into Adriatic Sea. Its v-shape also changes with sea currents and winds which makes it unique. Zlatni Rat is surrounded by deep blue and turquoise sea, while centre of the beach is covered with forest, restaurants and beach bars.
We serve croissant and coffee in the morning on our way to Bol¸ while on our way back to Split you get three course meal. You can choose between grilled fish, meat or vegetables with salad and dessert for the lunch. Also¸ some of the drinks are free of charge¸ including wine¸ coffee¸ juice and water.
